Basic Baking Classes


Desserts every cook should know how to make! These classes are geared toward beginners, novice chefs and avid home cooks looking to experience the various types of baking. I have been baking since the fifth grade with these easy and delicious recipes and would like to share with you these recipes and baking techniques so you can enjoy making these recipes for your family and friends.

In these classes you will learn the baking fundamentals to improve your skills. Get hands-on practice creating these delicious baked goods so you can impress at your next event. Choose ONE of the lessons listed below to make in your custom baking class.Should you have a guest with dietary needs, we are happy to accommodate them, just let us know.

Basic Baking Lessons

  • Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate! Everyone's favorite dessert!

    In this class you will make chocolate lava cakes, a chocolate flourless torte with caramel sauce, and chocolate pound cake with fresh whipped cream - yum!
  • French Baking

    Learn to make pâte à choux pastry, which is used to make profiteroles with chocolate ganache, French eclairs with vanilla cream filling, and lemon Madeleine cookies
  • Puff Pastry

    Sweet and savory dishes using Pepperidge Farm puff pastry. You will make apple strudel, apple turnovers and a savory appetizer for easy entertaining!
  • Galettes

    Learn to make galette dough from scratch and create a deliciously sweet blueberry galette, and a savory basil pesto, tomato & cheese galette
  • Fruit Pies

    Nothing says homemade like an apple pie! You'll make the dough and create the classic apple pie, triple berry pie and one savory pie: quiche!

These classes take about 3 hours and you will get to sit and enjoy your creations. The cost for one person is $125, 2 people is $200, 3 people is $300. Call or email us about customizing your baking experience.
