How do I sign up for a Viva Cucina hands-on cooking class?
Choose the cooking class type and menu you want to prepare. Then pick a date and time and call us to reserve a date. We will send you a registration form for you to complete, reserving your class.

The website has a calendar showing the available class dates. If the website is not available, call or email Viva Cucina for a copy of the class calendar.

What should I wear to class?
You should wear clothes that are comfortable to wear while cooking. Closed-toe shoes are preferred for your safety. We have aprons for our students to wear during the hands-on cooking classes.

What should I do if I have a food allergy?
If you have a food allergy, please be sure to put this information on the registration form and share it with the instructor when you arrive to class.

What if I have to cancel my attendance to a cooking class?
A full refund is given when the cancellation request is received by email to vivacucina@yahoo.com on or before the cancellation due date, which is five days before the class date.

Should you miss the cancellation due date, no refunds or exchanges will be given. Should you contact us before the cancellation time, we wil gladly return you class deposit or reschedule you to another class date and time. Please call us with any questions at 925-820-6612.

What happens when Viva Cucina has to cancel a class?
Viva Cucina reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes. In the event a class is cancelled, all participants will be notified and a full refund given.

Will Viva Cucina conduct a group cooking class in my kitchen?
Group cooking classes can be conducted in your home. You will need to have enough room in your kitchen to prepare the recipes at the same time. We will bring the necessary equipment, so we don't use any of your cooking tools.

Call us with any questions you might have to schedule a class in your kitchen.

Can I bring my own wine to a cooking class?
Viva Cucina allows you to bring your own wine to a class. This needs to be arranged at the time you sign up for the class. Please call us concerning any questions you might have.

Do you offer gift certificates for cooking classes?
Yes, we have gift certificates. Please call us for details on obtaining a gift certificate.
