Barbara Kelly, Owner & Culinary Instructor


Barbara has a real passion for teaching and helping you undersand the process for preparing & making a delicious meal. She has been cooking for over 30 years, with 15 years of teaching classes to hundreds of customers. Her creativity and experience keeps the process simple for you. She gives great tips for easy entertaining, making your life a little easier.

Barbara graduated from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science Education. She also has been a corporate executive in the financial services industry for many years. Her first love has always been to teach others to cook and entertain with ease. She taught cooking at the Draeger's School in Blackhawk, written cookbook reviews, and gives lectures on food subjects like 'Let's Talk Turkey - Learn how to take the mystery out of preparing a delicious Thanksgiving dinner, so you can enjoy the day too!' She is currently working on her first cookbook: Recipes, Menus and Tips for Easy Entertaining.
